This is our annual outdoor show, and it was held on February 28th, 2026. If you are familiar with the show, you will note that we have gone from a 2 day show to a 1-day show and we will be packing all the 2-day fun into 1 day. We will be updating the results of the show, but it was a success.
Sportsmen Show Orono Maine
We will again be hosting a kids fly tying booth at the PCCA Sportsmen show March 20,21 and 22, 2026 where every kid can get a chance to tie his own fly and take it home with them.
Fly Fishing 101
We are in hopes to bring back our very popular 1-day beginner fly tying class this spring. It includes info on what equipment you need or want to start fly fishing, a talk on bugs, casting instructions and the knots you need. It also gives you access to the experience of fly fishing from the experience members of the club. All this for a small fee and it also includes a lunch. This again will be in the April May time of year.
Outing June 13
Dan Groshon has again offered to host an outing at his place on the Penobscot River. It was well received las year hopefully you will not miss it. Check with Dan as to how to get there. You might even get a few tips on the fishing.
